Jean Nash
Practice and Experience
Jean J. Nash is the newest addition to the firm, becoming an associate in October of 2008. She practices in the areas of civil litigation and criminal defense.
While in law school Jean clerked for Chandler & Udall doing work in the areas employment law, personal injury, insurance defense, and criminal defense. She also clerked for the Law Office of Nash and Kirchner working in the area of criminal defense with a concentration on Fourth Amendment issues.
Education
Jean earned her Juris Doctor from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She earned her B.A. in psychology from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Publications
While in law school, Jean helped Professor Jack Chin research and write a study on the Collateral Consequences of Criminal Convictions. This study was presented to the AZ legislature and is awaiting publication.
Leadership and Community
Jean participated in the Volunteer Lawyers Program, Law Women’s Society, National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and Arizona Association for Criminal Justice while in law school.
